What were your best movies of 2011?

I think it's been a slow year for cinema.

For me personally:
1) Drive
2) Hugo
3) Warrior

Indeed. From the list @ http://teaser-trailer.com/movies-2011.html

I can say my favorite movie was The Adjustment Bureau.

Missed many 2011 movies, though the ones I would have liked to see were Hanna, Drive, Immortals, Source Code and In Time.

I enjoyed Thor too. It didn't have much of a story, but the execution was good.

Biggest let-downs: Sucker Punch and Transformers 3.

Drive was a ridiculously good movie, and especially for how minimalistic it was.

Greatly enjoyed the two films Source Code and The Troll Hunter. The trailer for Drive didn't intrigue me, I was afraid it'd basically be a clone of the film Faster.. but I'll probably give it a try.

Was Super 8 of this year or the one before?

This year, I believe.

Then I'd like to nominate it. I loved that one.

Ah, Super 8 was the one with kids and aliens. This one is in my must see list as well.

U.S version of Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, Sucker Punch.

I stopped seeing movies in theaters quite a long time ago, so I don't think I've even seen a lot of 2011 movies. Hell, I hadn't even seen The Green Hornet until I watched it last night.

I usually go see movies in the cinema that are built on special effects and require a big screen + massive sound. Like Transformers and Immortals. I can enjoy a good plot at home, but the cinema experience is something different.

Super 8 was actually brilliant, I think very highly of it.

The ending fell a bit flat on it's arse but other than it I agree, it was brilliant.

This:

After killing and eating half the town, the alien pulls an E.T and befriends the main boy. He then takes off in his little spacecraft and the other half of the town that wasn't brutally killed and devoured look on with tear-filled eyes of joy as they watched the clichéd Hollywood ending unfurl.

This year was fairly boring apart from a few shocks I got from Paranormal Activity 3 and Insidious plus The Immortals was boring as hell.

I'd have to say Warrior, loved that film.

I dont even think I have seen a new released movie this year.. Movies are **** nowadays.
