I've played Fable Aniversary, Fable II and Fable III. There are things I like about each, and things I hate about each. If they make a Fable IV, I would like Theresa and Reaver to be bad guys I can be able to kill.

That would be very cool, I'd really like a Fable in practically modern day setting, where the bloodline is almost completely dispelled, Jack and the Court along with the sword return from the void to retake Albion.
It would be really cool if Theresa had ulterior motives and turned out to be a villain though.

It would be amazing to bring a little of the essence of theresa back to the game and know more about their past and even that they can develop the stories told in the books / novels would be excellent DLC's. but the most important point is to explain the line of blood of the heroes and where the 3 aspects of being a true hero come from.
Totally agree, there is a lot about the Heroes Bloodline and about Theresa that hasn’t been mentioned. I would prefer the next Fable to be a reboot but then if it was then we might never find out more about Reaver, Theresa ect which would be a shame.
I always hated that fable the journey of all things was the game where Theresa opened up about her past, her actions with Lucien and the spire.. Ect.
Like you pick a game for connect that majority didnt like or even buy, and then she explains her actions to someone not even from the blood line but some random.
Always ****ed me off. Only reason I know is from youtube clips of the game.
But there should be some karma choice where you can either get rid of the shadow court as a good choice or kill reaver as an evil choice and replace him as a servant to the court providing your character with eternal youth and a repeatable quest to bring people to the court to steal their youth

Might be a blessing that so few people played the Kinect version that they might never have known this information.
I love the idea of having this choice, I hate that Oakvale is doomed and that you could never do anything to get revenge on the people responsible. What a missed opportunity by Lionhead to make the player have that choice between Reaver and the Shadow Court. I must admit that I actually have the Kinect and a copy of Fable but never actually got far into it.
I really hope they do a prequel of sorts either being old kingdom with black or when the hero’s were being hunted it could make for a really cool gritty version but still with the comedic values here and there the series was know for!
I personally prefer a time between fable and fable 2 where the heroes are hunted down.
Like around or before the time of the hero of south cliff.
They could end it with a dlc where the hero has to flee albion and go to Samarkand due to the mobs of albion citizens hunting the hero down
There is so much history and I definitely agree with the gap between Fable 1 and 2 being an interesting period to look at. I like the idea of the Heroes Guild and I find it hard to believe that a crowd of villagers with a few hand guns were able to wipe out the almighty Heroes Guild easily. I really do hate the time gaps between Fables and think that there should have only been a 50 year gap.

There was no guns before this point, no one can prepare for that kind of attack. And it has already been weakened before from the loss of maze, possibly weaver and thunder.
But also I think I heard that they also burn it to the ground in their sleep.
So as super sad it is to even think about it... they all were sleeping and they set it all on fire and anyone that ran out not ready and barely making it out of the fire and trying to catch their breath are then being gunned down...

Hi welcome DeathAngel :thumbsup: . There are a lot of places and timelines a new Fable can go. There are some bits around that covers the fall of the Guild but nothing that feels to satisfying at the moment. I really wish that we had more information to go on but Microsoft are remaining very tight lipped at the moment.

The old rumors have suggested that it'd be before the founding of the guild, it also could be as you said, but it could also be after 3 and fable the journey and the books. I have a good idea if what they are doing if fable 4 is literally fable 4, meaning after it all.
I'd be happy with any of it! Tho a reboot would make me both happy and very sad lol
