Following the news that Cyberpunk 2077 had overtaken The Witcher 3 in all-time concurrent players, and had beaten Modern Warfare 2 on the Steam sales charts. It had also amassed 1 million players for 4 weeks in a row, it has now hit 90% “Very Positive” reviews for the first time since its release in 2020. While it’s overall review status remains “Mostly Positive” at 78% it is excellent news for the developers who had a really rough ride following the games negative release.

Cyberpunk 2077 (Steam)

Surprising tbh. Especially beating Witcher and MW2. I thought it wouldn't have the longevity.

With how highly regarded The Witcher 3 is that also surprised me, CoD tends to have a lot of players on launch and then it drops off rapidly.

However, WZ 2 dropping next week and I've heard positive things. Seems like they've taken the game to the right direction.

I’m not touching this again until all the updates and DLC are out. Maybe then it’ll be what we were once promised.
