I definitely prefer cats. They are way more awesome. Would love to see cats in Fable. They would be worse treasure hunters but way better fighters. That would be cool.

There has been an obvious downwards trend. Fable 2 was a decent game, but most of the gameplay changes from TLC made it worse rather than better. And then with Fable 3, rather than go back to the awesomeness of TLC, Lionhead decided to accentuate all the bad qualities of Fable 2. Makes zero sense.

Basically, as with most Fable fans, I feel let down and disenchanted with the idea of F: The Journey. So I'm looking for a good RPG alternative. Is the Elder Scrolls series a good place to go? Skyrim looks amazing but I've never played any of the Elder Scrolls games. One of the things I love...

I do agree with you in general, but the original essence of Fable was to create your own hero on his own journey. I just think the series has lost that. Hopefully they will also make a Fable 4 and the franchise won't become Kinect exclusive.

I'm sure I'm not the only Fable fan to notice this. Fable games have been going downhill. And I'm not actually talking about the quality. A lot of people played Fable II and III and thought they were awful compared to F1. They are right in some aspects, but the sequels are actually very good...

dont need software to play Fable 1... I think :) It's a fantastic game btw, the story, locations and general feel of the game are just awesome. Enjoy :D

Very true. Moral choices are one of the only thing F3 did right. There was a lot of weight to the choices, even from the start (Elise or the protesters...), and on more than one occasion I really had to think about what I was doing. ... You don't know who Peter Molyneux is? ... fail. Epic...
