It's an hour or so north and west from where we are. There had been noises made about making a detour, but I don't think it'll happen. But the weather's nice, and the softball has been bearable.

Not saying it isn't hot, because 80-some degrees is hot everywhere, but there's a nice little breeze, and it's not very humid, and everything. This morning it was positively cool when we got up to go to the ball field. I love this place. Not as much as Maine or Vermont or Deep Creek Lake, but it's pretty damn nice.

Also, my sister tied her first game against some Connecticutians and made a hideously ugly play involving a dropped ball off a bunt, but not as bad as the two of her teammates who both ended up sliding into third and just kinda lay there waiting for one of them to get called out.

... Really? I'm in Akron right now, and it's humid, but nowhere near as bad as at home.

But srsly, I am here to ask a favour of you. This thread has gotten wildly out of hand within the last 4 or so pages, and some other members were talking about getting a mod (such as yourself) to delete from page 27 onwards in an attempt to 'resurrect' it. It would be super awesome if you could, but no worries if you can't be arsed.
