You just follow the road until you come to the kinda destroyed part, where you have to walk through rubbish and destroyed buildings. As soon as you get through all of that, you enter the first house on the right, should be there.

Yes. I entered the last like 500k in that exact situation on my last character and everyone was saved.

They are still there. One is right outside the gate/entrance to the Old Quarter that leads to the water. Just walk through it and go all the way right. It's by a big tree. Then the other is in the Nightshade House. It should be the only house you can get in if you didn't rebuild.

You may have figured it out by now if you have been playing but if not you will get them later. You just have to get to a certain point. I have 4 characters and you get the 2 said weapons then a little while later you will get rest of your stuff.

From what I have read if you trade it to someone who has never had the weapon the upgrades will be retained for them. However if they trade it back to you it will go back to how it was when you originally got it for the first time. For example if you found it in a chest then you will get it back...
