Final battle prep

Ok so Im on the last day before the final battle (where Hobson starts talking about these long duties you need to do but then everything freezes around you). Right now Im about to enter the road to rule, but I havent got enough gold yet. I have someone whos trading me 6.5 million gold for some codes, but Im afraid i might have gone too far that i cant enter my gold to save the town. Yet, even before entering the portal, I can still transfer gold to the treasurey. So is it possible to still transfer the 6.5 million before i enter the portal and have everyone saved?

Yes. I entered the last like 500k in that exact situation on my last character and everyone was saved.

You should have bought at least two Pawnbrokers (in Bowerstone Market and Brightwall) in the part of the game when you do some missions for Page. That way, you can get a nice nest egg to invest in later properties, most preferably stores...
