Sure, why the hell not? And... actually, I do like butterflies. Mostly because of the association with souls, specifically those of children.

Yeah but Ma Chao as a character looks so sleek - not to mention the traditional Gold Dragon Armour just screams spear! They should've given Guan Ping back that massive sword.

I don't think they were trying to be realistic, I think they just gave up gameplay somewhat for better graphics, features and character design - which I think is unnecessary. My favourite characters are Gan Ning and Ma Chao, and I was annoyed how they changed both of their weapons.
Now instead of a cool Pirate Sword, Gan Ning has a pair of wussy daggers. (Not to mention his new long flowing locks of blonde hair)

Yeah I like Dynasty Warriors, but I think they took a turn for the worse with their newest game - they changed most of the main characters weapons to spears and polearms! Who's your favourite character.
I read your story and I think you're a pretty good writer, keep it up and people will come to recognise this.
I am a major fan of the KH Series. (Seeing as I am also a big Final Fantasy and Disney Fan, it makes sense ^_^)
Heavy hitters would be the wrong term for me, I think being able to hit hard is one thing, but style also comes into it. (Like in Dynasty Warriors I preferred characters like Gan Ning over Lu Bu)
My imagination isn't lacking anywhere but I'm more of a graphically visual artist than a writer, but any help you need jus free to ask.
I've always played the heavy hitting characters in games so Cloud's gameplay is more ideal to me, as well as Jecht's and surprisingly Cecil.
I didn't like the design of Cecil though, and Cloud's voice just seems to be so badass.

I love how we've completely morphed your character from a hobo/fish/cyborg into a vampire/superman/aquaman.
