I'll start it off, then explain.
'Things can't (possibly) get (any) worse.' They obviously can and usually do...
This is basically a thread in which to dump some things that you say should never, under ANY circumstances, be said, then please explain why. Another could be:
'So far, so good.' As it always goes terribly wrong.

Also, saying "What are you going to do with that gun?!" Almost 100% of the time ends with the death of the speaker, or someone around them.
