10 Years and where the hell is my wife?

So, I just got off the boat after spending 10 years in the spire, I rush home to see my wife and so she can introduce me to my son as I've done so many times before.

What I got: I came home, went upstairs and there he is, my son, but the boy doesn't say anything, doesn't greet me, doesn't laugh at any expressions, he just stands there and picks his nose. I've been home for 2 days now and there's no sign of my wife.

I knew I shouldn't have married a bandit, SHE GAVE ME A RETARDED KID!!

the same thing happened with my kid on my first playthrough. eventually he grew a brain. give it some more time and your wife just might show up agian. try setting your marker to her. in the maps section go down to families and find her and set her as your goal. you can also see if she wants to divorce you and that might be why shes gone.

Ha, my child was retarded when I first had one too. After I entered Bloodstone though, she returned to normal. Maybe that'll help.

BTW, is it just be or are the gipsies more slutty? I tried having a threesome with another woman I'm married to from bowerstone and my gipsy wife, the gipsy was up for it but not the bowerstone wife. She divorced me a day later when I came back :S

I just found my way, i completed the quest to find bloodstone, while wandering down the waterfront shopping for items I make my way to the Inn, guess who's there? My wife, sitting down and drink beer, I walk up to her and she starts laughing?

That's when you turn over the table and give her a good 'ol fashioned beat down. Also I didn't notice that about the Gypsies, I actually tried having sex with ten of them at once but like.. I could only get 1 to follow, the rest were like "I'm not doing anything until I'm married"... but when I got that one to follow me, her husband was right there and he was like "That's my wife! What're you doing?!" so I took her to bed regardless.. Damn prudes.
