i think theyre just the same dog with different skins and extra features. If its tandomised at the start..... why will it be evil when your good? or is the dog gonna change species when your evil to good and vice versa

The dog's purpose in life, as it sees it, is to please you. If you do evil deeds, the dog will probably become as vicous and bloodthristy as you. I don't remember if there is a punishment/praise system as in Black & White, but in any case the dog won't just be good or evil, randomly generated.

Pugs are awesome!!! but me id rather have a weiner dog by my side!!! :devil:

but they CANT swim.. such short little arms

Sorry if I'm being a complete asshole and ruining fun and everything, but despite popular belief, Pugs can indeed swim.(Just not well...)

I know this as I myself have a Pug by the name of Sandy, and she despises the very thought of water.
I also have a Dachshund,but I am not sure if it can swim... It is rather heavy...

It's name is Sausage.

I haven't a dog, though if remeber the interview PM said that at the begining of the game you get to choose the dog type, and s/he then follows your behavouir pattern. I would like a Staffy or Brit Bull Terrier. i love those type.

My friend Sayed if you are evil your dog will evolve to a hell wolf or something like that. And if youre good youre dog will evolve to a sheep.

You can't get rid of your dog. It'll follow you everywhere no matter how mean you are.

Those dog breeds were an example, there's no SET breed on the dog, it can be whatever.

You can get rid of your dog.

I'm sure you can make it wait or something, but not like 'dump it off a cliff' getting rid of it. After all, PM said it has a major role in the game with it being partially like the HUD or something.

It preforms much of the minimap function. Thats why it stays ahead to warn you of danger, help you find thing you might miss, and leads you from town to town. It however becomes aware of your personality traits, i.e what ****es you off, what you like, and when its time to play or be serious. so its basically a charater, that becomes a helper of getting rid of the damned minimap lol.

I've said it before and I say it again: Eventhough the dog will help you find stuff like you might miss (like buried treasure! Yarr harr irate but well.... have you ever play that game where you are Yoshi, and baby Mario is on your back, totally helpless?

Well, I doubt they make your hero into "Baby Mario" and the dog "Yoshi". Your character will most likely be able to manage without the doggie, but you will miss alot of stuff. Probably. :ninja:
