Re: 360

Lucky biotch! I'm too busy buying guns and ammunition to spend money on dumb things like a 360 and really fun video games...

lol wut?

(In real measurements please, not the ones you guys use in Bizzaro World)

Re: 360

Lol. Its around 100 degrees Farenheit.

Re: 360

38 celsius is about 100 fahrenheit

Arseface beat me to it :(

Re: 360

Oh, thank you sir. Say, its actually a nice 65 degree's farenheit over here! I can wear jeans, a t-shirt, and a light jacket without dying!

Re: 360

I'm actually naked swimming in ice. But not because its hot, it's just a hobby.

Re: 360

Lucky you, finding Sephiroxas as a available gamertag.

Also, a nice set of games you've got there.

Re: 360

Yea, lucky with your nick not being taken already!

And have your '360 standing, that way you get more ventilation and less risk of the RRODs...

Re: 360

I disagree about the standing part. As long as you don't keep within a reasonable location (like not in a cabinet or drop your clothes ontop of it ect ect) it acts just fine in the horizontal position. Also, be sure not to keep it too close to a wall because the back of it generates a lot of heat and if it doesn't get enough "breathing space" it will start heating up the console.

All having it standing does is increase the chances it will chew up your game discs.

Actually, microsoft 360 support recomend that you keep it standing. They said it in an official statement about the RRODs... ;) Ther eason is that you get more ventilation-holes exposed to the air. When having it sideways, some of the holes have less capability of sucking in air...

Re: 360

True. But you don't get the RRoD simply by having it laying down and let it have it's own breathing space. It's true though what I said about higher risk of damaging your game discs, and they aren't covered by any extended warranty.

Re: 360

I bought A 360 in 2006 and now 2 years later there has been some some great games that have been released for the the 360 I think I made the right disicion to keep my 360 rather than get a PS3

Re: 360

Yes. I meant, if its 38C, you should probaly keep it standing. (or more correct, you shouldt play at all!)

Re: 360

Heh, if it is nearly 40 degrees inside you're probably having more pressing concerns than playing and worrying about RRODs.....

Re: 360

I don't have any room to keep it standing. Also, I have a GIANT fan, at the back of the console pointing out. So I don't think I'll have many problems.

Re: 360

Heh, the cooling without any extra fans is more than enough. The thing to watch out for, as I was saying is to keep it in a relatively open space and not keeping the rear end too close to the wall, because then the hot air just"bounces" back at the poor thing...

Re: 360

It was good to see you finally got one and id noticed you online a lot on it so guessed thats why your activity declined.
