good for you on getting one. im saving up some money myself to buy my own. right now im just borrowing a 360 from my sisters friend (its not really borrowing since he just leaves it here and doesnt want to take it back to his house)

cool. i actually though u wouldve had one by now. my 360 is the reason y i wasnt on much round the halodays...yes...halodays...until it broke, then its just Holidays

agreed the only reason i am a little skeptical about buying a 360 is the rrod but fable 2 over rides my fear yay for fable 2!

Congrats. Don't get hooked on H3 like I did, it'll cost you grades, jobs, spouses, homes, pets, a few tasty drinks, and a life or two in the long run. :(

The RRoD rumous are a bit exaggerated to be honest. Sure, the first few 360s released had a high rate of failure, but not the ones you can buy now. Just be sure to keep it in a open, well ventilated space.

And should you get the RRoD, Micro$oft does have a very generous policy. What I've heard they even send someone to your house to pick it up and carry it off for repairs or whatever.

I never got the RRoD, and my 360 is from the first few months that they were selling them :thumbsup:

Yep, and then microsoft changed the manufactorer, so now its estimated to have dropped to 10-20% failure rate... but thats way to high anyway...

Two mate of mine think the 360 is crap because they both have a PS3 and they say that microsoft will sell the rights to the halo series to sony some day but I explained to them why the hell would microsoft sell the rights to the halo series when they could only be making a couple million more than they already had they would be making twice as mush as long as halo sells and also with the release of the greatest role playing game ever on it's way i just cant see how the PS3 is better than the 360

two mates of mine own a PS3 and they claim that the 360 is crap compared to the PS3
and I told them that just because microsoft has halo and that the greatest RPG in the the world is to be released on the 360 this year does not mean that the 360 is crap they say that some day microsoft will sell the rights to halo and that linhead will release fable 2 for the PS3 I told why the hell would they do that microsoft could make more money by keeping the rights to halo and lionhead are renowned by making games exclusivily for the PC and XBox

Most PS3 owners say that. It makes them feel better about their console not having any worthwhile games.

Mine is just over 2 years old and still running strong. Over the years ive had 2 playstations and 2 playstation 2's that died on me so Microsoft are doing better in my household.

Agreed, the PS3 is a great machine but there isnt one game right now id buy it for. However the 360 has many games id splash the cash out on to buy one for.
