Adoption

I was wondering if adoption has any limitations on its implementation because i plan to adopt a son when i'm king and raise him in my image. Do you need to acquire the ability to adopt on the Road to Rule or is it only available at a certain point of the game etc?

I think itll probably be gained on the road to rule near the end as you might be too busy near the start

it will probably be in the same chest as the one with the 'special hug' to have biological kids. its probably after the 2nd or 3rd gate.

Well as long as you get it by the time you're king. I plan to adopt an orphan and spoil him rotten, unless i'm good of course, then i'll just....beat him?

Do you think they will only make adoption available to same-sex couples? Because While I understand that, I think having heterosexual couples or single men or women able to adopt should be allowed too.

Well, i would have thought it would be available to all couples, just because there is no reason for it not to be. I'm just worried that if you're single, you might not be allowed to adopt.

I was just thinking they might just go along the lines of "If you're married you should be able to have your own and will not need to adopt so we won't bother with writing the code for that." heh.

But that'd be stupid not to be able to adopt while heterosexually married. I bet you anything they'll let you.
