do you think they might also have that period of training between childhood and adulthood like in the first or they just dropped that in Fable II?

Most of your teenage years were actually skipped over in TLC as well. Your character was already 18 by the time the Guildmaster had him train with real weapons. It really wasn't different from Fable 2 in that aspect, so that's how Fable 3 will be.

Re: Age?

i personally enjoy starting out as a kid it gives u a chance to get a real "feel" for the controls and unique abilities...one thing i missed from f1 was the chance to get a full tutorial level and not just a easy ass dungeon. but either way jumping in as an adult would be strange for fable and would break tradition

Well the point was that it wasn't straight to an "Your On Your Own" phase
In the first one:
1. You're a kid
2. You're older (10?)
3. You get the Graduation thing which is the pass to Adulthood basically
I'm not totally sure if I'm right because I haven't played Fable in a while (and I only own TLC) but I'll definitely get back into it soon

Re: Age?

There's nothing in between the kid phase that you're in at the very beginning and early adulthood. After hitting that straw dummy with the stick and killing beetles in the Guild Woods, time passes, and suddenly you're 18 years old and the Guildmaster is giving you your first sword. Even though you're in the Guild at this time, you're still a young adult, and there is very little time that passes between this and your graduation from the Guild.

Re: Age?

if you go on to the lionhead studios official website they give you some vids and some good info. you start of as the son of your person on the second one and your missions lead you to the point that you have to battle your older brother who is the king, to get the thron but that is only half the game play. after you are king you have to then decide how you are going the run the kingdom wether you are going to run it as good and help out the poor people or if you are going to run it evil and take all the money for your self. but they have made some good changes to the game in fable 3 you will now have the ability of touch, you will be able to hold hand with the one you love, pick up your offspring and stroke your dog, they have also made it so that you can get wing coming out of your back and so that the weapons you use change depending on how you use them if you use it to kill inecent people your weapon will become dark and evil but if you use it to help people it will turn light and good. :) i think this is going to be the best on out of the lot. :)

Re: Age?

The way I personally think the story will unfold is this:
You start as a teenager, your father being king, and older brother(I say older because the oldest always gets birth rights) Logan is just so darn ambitious. You go about your pricly duties, doing your unimportant tasks when BAM! You get a message from a servant saying your father has been poisoned or killed or something along those lines. Your brother immidiatly takes the throne(if there's a queen, she gets killed as well). As you prgress at the right hand of your brother, you find out he killed the king(and queen. How they died is up to the imagination. Poisoned, assaulted, or anything). He finds out you know, tries to have you killed, the Archon blood works it's magic, and off to a rebel camp you go. But this is only my two cents.

Also, I think the fight between your hero and Logan will be insane! Two heroes duking it out for the throne, it's going to be like the hero fight from TLC. But this is also my two cents. I am now four cents poorer.

No, in Fable TLC if you looked at your hero Status while you're in the tutorial quets at the Guild, it says you're 16.

I like that idea, it has a boss fight an everything, just one thing even with age i would want my Fable 2 guy to die a bit of a "heroic death"

Re: Age?

....

Oh right, my bad...

I swear it said 16, it actaully says 18, sorry. Even though there's a significant height difference between your apprentice Hero and the graduated Hero, they're both 18, I gotted it wrong.
