A poem that Alex, the king of Albion and Sparrow's husband, wrote after the death of his first two children and Sparrow herself.

Even in sleep I'm dying,
if I'm not dying I'm crying,
if I'm not crying I'm lying,
and if I'm not lying I'm dying.

She was gone from my life,
my beautiful hero wife,
when she died my heart felt a knife,
my first children died in the strife.

She loved our children with her heart,
when they died it torn her apart,
Gail died when her breathing didn't start,
Thomas died when he was hit by a dart.

Logan will be king,
I gave him my royal ring,
Rose will still hopefully sing,
I never see her playing.

I'm alone,
I'm dying soon it's shone,
my body will be as cold as stone,
I will look all skin and bone.

Rose is begging me not to go,
Logan's pacing to and fro,
the kingdom waiting for the crown to bestow,
I feel my heart beginning to slow.

My Sparrow, my love,
I will soon be with you above,
I'm be there soon my loving dove,
I bet even in the afterlife you are beloved.

I pray I'll pass on in peace. I'm tired.I rest.

The dot is ruined making a line across the paper. The rest of the paper is covered in ink, Alex died and fell over causing the ink to spill. The ink blot looks like a small bird, a sparrow.
