An RPG showdown?

With Fallout 3 and Fable II being released within two weeks of one another, will there be a huge (flame war ridden) showdown? I barely recovered from the H3 vs. CoD4 wars and I seriously don't want to have another.:'(

I will get both and appreciate RPG heaven, just as i did with Halo 3 and COD 4 (though i played COD 4 much more).

Well they're both RPGs, and i LOVE RPG's.. so i mean.. Im not going to have a war with the other one.. Just like one better then the other.. OBVIOUSLY FABLE II!!!!!!

Haha i mgiht get Fallout 3 when it drops down in rices.. which will be in like a freakin YEAR!

I'll wait til after the holidays for Fallout 3 myself, but between Fable 2 and life responsibilities, no time for anything else besides a few Rockband2 breaks.

Oh, I didn't realize it was a 'war'. It just seemed like a bunch of worthless fanboyism.

both Halo 3 and COD4 suck......... Fable 2 and Fallout 3 are gonna be real good though so i doubt that the same thing is going to happen

Flame wars only occur when the games are so crappy that people who play them feel the need to defend the game....

Fallout 3 and Fable 2 are released on the same day in england so I suppose becuause of all the meat heads theyll vouch for fallout because of the gritty violence i personally will be Jumping all over the shop to get Fable 2

Not quite. Flame wars occur more with more popular and highly rated games, which is where the fanboyism starts.

As Drakan said, I doubt I'll side with one or another. I love Bethesda and what they did with Oblivion, and I think Fallout will be a great game. But at the same time I've been waiting for Fable 2 for years now and from what I've seen, it's a real contender for Game of the Year. I'd take both, personally.
