Another Question (I need all of your help)

OKAY, since I don't know where I should put this (Even though this seems like the right place)

I have a question for ALL OF YOU!!!!
There's this thing, called Furcadia and you can make character's and go online and role play with people. I've found LOADS of familiar places (kingdomhearts, Naruto, Inuyasha) but I haven't found a Fable RP. SOOOO I want to make one.
It's kind of close to SIMS in the respect of building. Graph like area...
So I was wondering..which area should I make?
I've been trying to make the heroes guild but it's a pain.
Should I do somepalce else? Knot hole glade? Archon's folly?

Where would YOU RP if you could in fable?

This is out of my range of understanding, to be fair, but if I could do it I'd probably go for Oakvale...no particular reason, I just like the place and I like how it's laid out...

Ok, so that probably isn't any good to you but I thought I'd try and stop the tears... ^_^

I had a look at the Furcadia site - it looks pretty interesting. How far have you got or are you still in ideas mode at the moment?

Are we talking main areas of the game or behind demon doors as well? What actually goes on in this created areas? Usually I would be inclined to go for Oakvale but if the RP thing was primarily for hanging out in a chilled out atmosphere I would say that there are some nice relaxing places behind demon doors ^_^

Well I have googled it and it appears to be a program you download and install, which I am about to do. From what I gather it allows you to create graphical environments and characters and then (not sure about this part) roleplay in a manner similar to that of text based roleplaying?

We'll soon see once I try this devicular doohicky out :lol:

Edit: Downloaded it and it wont stop testing functionality O_O

The setup for your character is messy and confusing, you cant be human either, just a lot of animal sounding names ending with 'ine' and to be honest I think I shall leave it until tomorrow when I have more patients for tedious tasks

So..Yes. What Weirdkidinabox said is right. It's like a BIG GIANT chat room, and yes it's role playing (text based) Lots of Furres though...Why not? who wouldn't want to be a furre? BUTT You CAN be human contrary to popular belief.

yeah it's a pain to figure out but it's REALLY fun. I don't know about collaberating you'd have to ask one of the peoples.

I have yet to get to the point of creating a new area, I got as far as character creation page and quit out of the program. It scared me and was rath garish to be honest, characters arent too pretty T_T

I tend to prefer text based rping on forums as opposed to online chat style arenas. Its easier to backtrack and see whats been going on and all that....

Yeah I seen the screenshots, its not utterly horrific but I was sort of expecting something a little more.. well I dont really know to be honest. Im sure it isnt all bad dude, I've been absorbed in other things today and so havent really taken the time to properly fiddle through it, I'll do it tomorrow or during the week and give a full check out.

I was expecting more, when they told me I could be a creature. It's kind of like fable in the respect that you can't do a lot of character tweaking mostly colours. but I used to have AOL and I used to be in all types of chats so I'm used to it.

Just..give it a try a little bit before completely dissmissing it. Like you said already you haven't had time so let me know when you get around to it.

I've actually heard of this program! I remeber it because we were having some BDSM cyb0r, me and some chick, and we got into talking about fetishes, namely furries, which led to my mistress speaking of this here little program.

Oooohh...the memories.

Anyhow, I think the Bandit Camp would be an awsome area. I really love that area in the game and wish you could interact alot more with the Bandits.

It seems a tad harder than the heroes guild. Lots of tents and water. I haven't quite mastered how to do water yet.
