Anyone here know anything about Keyboards (piano)?

I'm thinking about buying one, and I'm the highest bidder on this one. It's got the features I want, but I'm just after further opinion.

What would you like to know exactly? (A bit vague )

Is it a good investment? Does it have any problems with it breaking down? (like the RRoD, which is a major issue, but doesn't exactly go in the specs). Is there a better one around? Things like that.

All I know about keyboards is I used to be able to play "Mary had a little lamb" about as well as an 8 year old. I probably cant even do that by now.

Keyboards rarely go wrong unless under actual physical damage.

That particular model has basically everything you'd need to plug in and play, including a pitch bender if you're up for some odd piano riff making.

There is 400 voices on that model, so you'll never run out of sounds. But the only problem with Casio is they're infamous for mediocre keyboard voices. But at that price, it's a bloody great steal.

It has a MIDI input so you can plug it into your computer and use it for, lets say, GarageBand and use the voices on GarageBand (Which is a better idea).

They have weighted keys, hence a good thing. You can also plug in an iPod or MP3 player and play a song through the speakers on the Keyboard so you can have a go at playing along, which is good.

I'd say for the price, go for it. It's a quality keyboard.

Cheers! I honestly didn't think I would get any real answers here - thanks.

That really reassures me. I'd have hated to have already bid on a crap keyboard. Thanks again.
