In my mind I dont think that the percentage of the female population of Fable II is higher than male, but I am certainly not going to rule it out as a possibilty.. todays gaming world is a changing one.. basically my point was that there are more females playing video games out there than you think there are (than I thought there were)... if you read it any other way sorry.

Well sorry if I misunderstood, but I was only going on what you posted...

"recent surveys have shown that at least 50% of the gamer population is now female"

I'm not a maths expert or anything, but to me that says that females make up 50% or more of the gamer population.

Meaning that girls are either equally represented, or outnumber males.

If you just meant that more girls may play games than the stereotype suggests, then I agree with you.

I only read it the way you posted it dude.

Those are the figures I have read not my own (where I cant remember, but if I find it I will send a link or name the issue of the magazine). Here is one that might surprise you even more I found while trying to find it:

Interesting figures...

Although I don't know how much I trust them. Statistics are notorious for being misleading. Figures showing that there are more online female gamers than male gamers, could actually just mean that women are more likely to fill out surveys than men.

because until recently, gaming was one of the only places a late single man could turn to without being depressed that he doens't have a girlfriend. now there is no escape... :noexpression:

Maybe you'll end up meeting the girl of your dreams in some online tavern or something? Then you might actually end up with a girlfriend.

Funny you say that, I have a wierd friend from london who is obsessed with skinny emo girls. I think he's a goth.

One time I was talking to him and he said something like "Charlie.. type cute goth girl into google, it'll get you h**d in no time!"

Such a wierdo :lol:

I dont think it's wierd that he likes goth girls, I think he's wierd because he told me that he j**ks off over pictures of super-skinny emo girls on google images.

Ah, now I get you. Liking anorexics is just plain dirty, if it doesn't have boobs, it isn't a woman!
Saying that, i generally don't count emo girls as eligible women either.

I'm not into the whole anorexic thing either, but I think emo girls can be cute. However I have a girlfriend that I have a happy relationship with so I dont really care anymore.

Can't argue with that. But I really doubt playing Fable requires THAT kind of fortitude. I'm doing just fine without it. Heck, in a male file I can even get a "chick" pregnant. :D Plus, my husband for my female character cannot even give me more than 3 kids. What a disappointment.

I don't think theres much wrong with the term "chick" for girls btw.
Heck, we were all "sparrows" in the game.:unsure:
