You consider 300 years ago "new age"? You think they were EASY to fire? Most of the guns, mainly blunderbuss's had a fairly strong kickback. You had to learn to shoot one. Secondly, they weren't EASY to fire - a skilled solider could only fire off between 2-3 in a minute - that's actually LESS EFFECTIVE than the bow.
Wait, the BOW can technically break? The blunderbuss had many discharge problems, including ammunition getting stuck in the barrel and backfiring.
Assuming that we're not carrying around M-16's and AK's, I think guns in Fable are going to work just fine. With muskets, even blunderbuss six shot pistols, everything should be alright.
Also, Guns back then, if you even messed up on reloading, too much or too little gun powder could cause the Gun to explode in your hands.
Even worse, if you point the gun down while reloading, it could explode in a more 'Personal' spot.
I think you should manually reload in fable, since its long range and more powerfull then bows or swords.
We need a more challenge to this easy game, and possibly a world to explore, like The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion.
And a headshot in fable (Just like bows)
Should make there head explode, just like real life.
Although, Fable is based far back, and it is a fantasy games, with myths of those kinda monsters brought to life.
Not paths.
