^Kind of a old thread but to late to complain about it now
Ya each game started with some form of your family dieing, so maybe you'll find your dad die and you want to take vengeance, or maybe your dad keeps his past seperate from you and he tells you on his death bed.

As for king thing, i'd rather not tie my character to wealth and just keep him to do as he please *Im good but occasionally a citizen ****es me off and i have to chop their head off*

Last post before mine was only 1week old and if you check the front page that's pretty recent cause not many people are posting at the moment.

Also I think I met Soap's criteria of contributing something new.

Not looking for an argument but if we stop posting on things from the front page these forums are gonna go pretty quiet until Fable 3 comes out.

Man I hope Oakvale is rebuild I been in love with that vilage since fable 1 and had a good and sad memory such as the place was peaceful and funny. I also wish that you do go back in time see the parents more.

I think that the king idea is a bit of mis-direction. Theresa never says your child will be king or have any regal power and the teaser shows an abandoned crown.

Both Fable games so far have started with tragedy - I think that the hero is exiled pretty early on. Teasers are designed to get people guessing wrongly. Just watch the mass effect 2 teaser, it got everyone talking but was surprisingly insignificant.

Yep. Sorry didn't know that. Just checked out wikipedia page on Fable 3 seems you're the ruler Albion and get invaded.

Guess that means no more jobs, money worries or rent collection.

If I had my way my evil character would destroy albion. Burn the cities to the ground, slaughter its people, rip off the heads of puppies in front of small children. And when they start to rebuild, I get to do it all over again. I play a mean bad guy.
