At the moment...jury's out. I'm the sort of person who likes what they like and can be quite curmudgeonly about that.

I don't mind the length of a game so long as it's enjoyable and I feel like I haven't just wasted my time and money on it. Sometimes the longest games can be just full of filler like endless fetch and carry quests.

I'm not sure - but I do prefer quests with some real imagination put into them. I'm not a fan of rinse and repeat type stuff. Take Skyrim, for example. I love the game but my gosh the side missions got repetitive and boring very quickly. The Thieves Guild ones where in order to pimp out your guild, you need to do 50 billion of the same things in each region. Or when you're handling the civil war and so many of the missions involved "go there, smack that, come back". I like to see some thought behind it so it doesn't become tedious. If I wanted tedium, I'd play a simulation game.

Location-wise...I dunno. That's a good question. I wouldn't mind a little nod to Knothole perhaps. Or the Darkwood Bordello.

I think to remove something that helped make cash in previous games would be a shame, but then it does depend on the direction the game is intending to go. If making money is a necessary element, then property would be a nice way of handling that. I kind of like the idea of not everything having to be "go here, stabby stabby, come back, get paid" - would be nice to incorporate the idea of being more Reaver-like in terms of creating income through industry of some sort.

All of this being said, I have not kept up with any of the latest (or even oldest) Fable news, so everything I've mentioned is likely moot anyway
I agree with almost everything you mentioned and so fun hearing about what your thoughts are!:D
