Ah, the old "You can't shout at me - I'm sick!" manouver. Bravo Sharon. Bravo.

Because you keep talking like that so no one understands you.

Perhaps it's because I'm a loyalist, but I prefer the FUDForum smiley faces used at FableTLCMod. Link, spoiler shows image for those too lazy for the link:

Minus that rolling eyes one, personally I think that one should be sent down to and locked away at the depths of hell.

Nice. I'd all 'em to my collection. My personal collection, that is. I have a folder choc-full of smilies from various message boards. The ones we have in use at the moment are obviously IPB ones, but the FUDforum ones are pretty cool too.

I actually really hate the smilies we use.
the vB smilies are much better. :3
I quite like the vB ones as well. The only problem with 'em is that there isn't a whole lot of variety with stock vBulletin smilies. I mean, you get a happy, sad, confused, "big grin", set and not much else.

Here's one I ask all my friends:

If you were gay (or straight, if you're gay) who would you want to date? :3
George Takei. No question.

Re: Ask The Staff 'Anything'

Before y'all start saying that you wouldn't nail George Takei; feast your eyes:

I rest my case.

Re: Ask The Staff 'Anything'

Bit of a jump from Josh Holloway though, don't you think?

Re: Ask The Staff 'Anything'

If you were stuck in a ware house with your best friend with a giant lawnmower coming at you and you cant escape, but you know that you could clog and break the lawn mower would you:
A. Throw your best freind into it to clog it?
B. Throw yourself in their to clog it?
C. "We highly recommend ****ing yourselves! Followed by a course of praying to your impotent God! Then cowering in the corner and begging - always good - but if you act now, there's still time for an old-fashioned SUICIDE!" ($10 no one gets the reference?)

Can't I just jump over it? If I can't then I'll shove my friend in - if they are really that good a friend they'll put me first anyway...

Re: Ask The Staff 'Anything'

No you cant escape (I thought I typed that my bad) why not martyr yourself? that makes you look even better to your living friends, + thats +rep in heaven lol!

Re: Ask The Staff 'Anything'

Is it bad that I saw that name and went, "Oh, Sulu!"

Always a good method. It can be expanded to "You can't hit me back, I'm sick," "You can't beat me in this game because I'm sick," "Gimme that sandwich because I'm sick," and so on and so on.

WHA? You poor, deprived nation. So, out of curiosity, why do YOU know about it?

Because, as I said - I'm a chump. I think some time ago I heard that theme song or whatever from somewhere, and being the chump I am, I decided to see where it was from.

And a few visits to YouTube and Wikipedia later and I know all about it.

How large is this lawnmower and how small is this warehouse? You'd think I could just sidestep around the lawnmower and make my way to the power source or something.

Question for the staff: About what percent of your non-internet time out of the day is spent thinking about what is happening on the internet, specifically on the sites that have forums that you serve as staff
99.99*%

Mainly because I'm paranoid though.

Don't feel bad. I never even owned the computer game or watched the TV show; and I STILL occasionally find my brain going, "Where, in the world is Carmen Sandiego."

Damn catchy theme song.

Also, don't feel too bad. That's the only reason I know anything about 90% of TV shows, videogames, comics, etc. The books I actually read.
