I'm quite disappointed with it really.. Personally, I think they've dragged Ezio out too far and he isn't interesting anymore and I don't really like playing as an old man. The characters are a bit boring, Istanbul isn't a fun city to play in and the only part I'm enjoying is playing as Altair.

Thought I'd have a mini rant.

When was Ezio ever interesting? I've still yet to complete AC: Brotherhood, the gameplay is good, but the story and characters just aren't doing anything for me. Due to that, I doubt I'll be shedding out any green for Revelations unless it hits the bargain bin some years later.

WAIT! you play in Instanbul the whole game?

How dull that sounds :(

I'd rather play bob the builder and the legend of the golden hammer than ACR now!

I liked him in AC2. Brotherhood he was a bit boring and Revelations.. Well, he sucks.

I've always liked Ezio. He's always been more interesting than Altair to me. And as for characters specific to Revelations, it wasn't too bad. They've done better on the villains before (Cesare was a great antagonist), but I loved Yusuf and Prince Suleiman. And what's so bad about Constantinople? I really don't see much between many cities in the Assassin's Creed series. Constantinople just seems to me like any other city in Assassin's Creed, except with ziplines, which are fun.

Do you mean the story of the entire series, or the story within Brotherhood?

I prefer Altair for his arrogant attitude, much more appealing and interesting to me.

Nothing wrong with it, but I just prefer having multiple cities like AC1 and 2. I didn't mind Rome though.

I prefer him when he became more grounded, like in the codex in AC2. Reading through that made me like him more, but still, he didn't have much of a personality.

I prefer ezio to Altair, only because he's been more developed over a longer period though.

At least I can say his name, I wont even pretend to pronounce Altair's full name.

I traded-in Revelations. It felt too much like Brotherhood to me and
I'm not a fan of the series.

I didnt mind Ezio but hes overstayed his welcome now and still being able to move as he does at that age is absurd. That said I am enjoying Revelations though annoying how little part Desmond has played so far.

I'm still going to play through it all, it may take some time but there's only been two games I've really enjoyed the story in this year. Gears of War 3 and Skyrim.

I thought that as I played through the story too, but the ending makes up for it.

Hope so as hes meant to be the main character and have the story revolve around him. Yet besides those memory sequences you unlock (only unlocked two so far) I dont know much more about him than at the end of Brotherhood. Just hope Ubisoft dont ruin the series churning out countless games every year.

I've heard that the next game might be the last, but I'm actually hoping it doesn't end quite yet.

I highly doubt it otherwise there would have been a bigger development gap, it makes to much money currently to finish it.

It's a sad realisation that games are only made for income for the most part. That's why I'm glad there's a couple great companies that keep producing quality content at a decent rate. Rockstar and Bethesda spring to mind.

Yeah but a shame companies dont hold their titles in higher regard and spend time developing them into huge games that are worth the money. Rather than an update every year to make a quick buck, Bethesda and Rockstar take their time and I respect that. However dont want people turning into Valve and 3D Realms and you never seeing their games for 10 years+.

Just finnished it (sorry for the old bumP)

My relation ship with AC is a complicated one:

The first one i was really exited for. When i first saw it, it was a demo for the ps3 and though it was a ps3 exclusive. When it came out i bought it and played through it. (it was like the 3 game i every played on my 360) its was super repetitive though as we all know.

The second one i was super hyped about everything was improved on (except the fighting). no.2 is my fav

No.3 i felt was a rip off, still Ezio only like 10 years later, the add on of the assassins that could help you was kinda cool though.

No.4 same old stuff. The add on of a tower defence game is useless and boring. Story was not engaging and the Desmond memory bits are lame and uneventful. Bombs are useless.

As much as i enjoy the 'hunt and kill' gameplay you always know what your getting in AC games.
