Avatar img limit

Has the limit on avatar sizes been reduced because I can't seem to change my avatar at all. Anything over 39.4 something kb which I think is ridiculous shouldn't it be a good 200-500 kb at the very minimum?

Just did a quick test of an image that's over 400KB and it worked just fine, try clearing your cache & cookies or making sure the image you're trying to use is the right format (Jpeg, Jpg, Gif, Png).

EDIT: Just did another test of an image that's 2.8MB, and it still worked.

Just deleted my history and its still doing it. :-/ its the right img type.

Edit: Its limiting me to 39.1 KB.

Strange, one of the Admins will have to take care of it since it sounds more like an issue of the forums itself then.

I was limited to about 86kb, my image came out to just over 90. Changed format to get it to fit. This limit sounds fine, I'd die if people were able to have entire wallpapers as avatars.

:lol: that will not happen so wouldnt worry.
