Avatar Trouble

Oi, I've been playing around with this new avatar of mine for a few minutes, and I've been having some problems. No matter what I do, it won't let me upload any picture from my photobucket account, even the avatar that I was previously using. I am only able to upload pictures from my computer, and when I do that with a rendered picture, it slaps a white background on it. If anybody could help me out with this, it would be much appreciated.

I'll look into the Photobucket thing for you. As for the rendered avatars: This forum doesn't have any problem displaying avatars with transparent backgrounds - are you absolutely certain the avatar you were trying to use was either a .png or .gif and had a transparent background? Feel free to email me the image in an attachment and I'll see if I can work out what's going on. My email is is my sig.

Also, if the image is already too big (bigger than 100x100), the site will shorten it down and the transparency will be taken away - you have to make sure it's within the limits.

My avatar was uploaded directly to the site and it has a transparent background.

It's still not working. I'm just going to use my old avatar for right now.

I just checked the picture again, it is a .png. I opened it up in photochop again too, and it does have a transparent background.

I tried resizing it to make it fit into the size limits, but even this smaller picture had a white background on the forum page.

Just emailed the picture.

Geez Necro, hurry and view the thread again so I can change back to my previous avatar.

Although the colours do match my 3 User Bars.

Yea, I did notice that that happened, but I figured it wasn't a huge deal even though I'd rather have the higher quality. But thanks for this one, JD, it's perfect.
