No I haven`t read Moby Dick... but I don`t think Moby Dick (if it could fly or walk) would`ve massacred a whole spacestation, which Aliens did. They`re not regular animals. Animals don`t kill for fun, Aliens (as well as Predators) do. And they can`t possibly feel threatened by weak, unarmed humans.

Alright, but my point is that the basis of Moby Dick is that you can not seek revenge against an animal because an animal is not capable of evil acts.

And I don't think we've seen xenomorphs "kill for fun". And animals don't only kill when they feel threatened.

And the xenomorphs aren't as sentient as the Predators, as I've said, they act more like a big hive of aggresive insects like ants or bees and don't posses the capability to caluclate intelligent plans like the Predators (note: This doesn't mean they aren't smart, but that is not intelligence, it is cunning).

Well, I still disagree because I think the creator of Xenomorphs made them... ok, I´ll use it... "bad". It wouldn`t be much of a thriller when people started feeling sorry for the ones killing humans. The film isn`t a discovery channel... Xenomorphs just kill everything they see.
Ofcourse, for Aliens, their actions aren`t evil, but the film is supposed to give the impression that we are fighting an evil force.
If it were real life and real world, I`d totally agree with you and I understand what you`re trying to say, but it`s just about the film. And it`s not some kind of deep plot film. It has no question why? Xenomorphs kill others, they just do.

But not because they are evil. It is just the way they are, so you sorta just strengthened my argument. They do not have the choice to either save the humans or kill them - they simply kill them.

Predators however in breeding them, exploiting them for hunting and not to mention all the humans they kill whilst doing so are quite intentionally evil.

But in Predator 2, a predator didn`t kill an armed pregnant woman (just a fact).

Evil in the eyes of you and me, yes. But not in the eyes of the alien, it comes natural to them and I doubt they are aware they are doing something "evil". So they might appear to be the "evil side" in the movies, but they really aren't "evil".

Not really. They only kill those with guns because they only deem them worthy prey, so again it is selfish motives just like a hunter would shoot the moose with the largest horns to put on his wall to boast about it - not much to boast about if you put a little moose calf up there.

It was just so that she could give birth to yet another human to hunt, nothing else.

Well, I was trying to get to that. It`s all about the movie and it`s made for human beings, who see Aliens as the "evil" side.
