Bad Company 2 VIP map pack to come out same date as MW2 pack

March 11, 2010 - Electronic Arts announced that its second VIP map pack for Battlefield Bad Company 2 will be released on March 30, the same day as new Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 map pack.

The new Bad Company 2 map pack is free on all platforms for those of you who entered your VIP codes that came with the game. Here's what you'll get:

- Arica Harbor Conquest mode - US Command launches a break through action directly at the Russian base. Collateral damage is of no consequence. Capture and secure tactical positions in Conquest Mode across the vast Arica Harbor map.

- Laguna Presa Rush mode - The valley and surrounding mountains possess a strategic value in the battle for South America, and an infantry assault supported by light armor vehicles is likely by both armies as US forces defend the nearby Dam.

Infinity Ward's Modern Warfare 2 'Stimulus Package' is releasing first on Xbox Live. Activision said the announcement for the PC and PS3 release date is coming soon. No details about the maps have been revealed.

I want a map like Wake Island from Battlefield 1942, im yet to see any decent maps online really or see any decent vehicles (besides tanks) or heavy weaponry (UAV's or rockets) in action.

Sweet. It is only 2 maps, but they make HUGE ****ING MAPS so it should be pretty awesome. I hope they release future maps for free.

And could you post the source? Not doubting you or anything, it is just that the vote thing isn't working so I wanted to go to the original site to see if it would work.

Thanks, but apparently my school can't load the thing I wanted anyways. Damn School computers.

EDIT: Ninja'd. Cool.

And just me being an idiot, I was reading it and when I skimmed over the release date it said March 5th and I was like "whaaa...?" For about a minute until I realized that Andy is in the UK and it was the UK IGN.

Fail on me. :lol:

:O if you go on the dowloads on the battelfield menu it shows you all the dlc thats comming out theres kits and eveything ( kit outifts i think ) and i think they are all free for VIPS! :O i love battleifled <3

Don't worry "Battleifled" sounds like something a FOB would say, and it actually kind of fits together. :lol:

But if it is all free for VIP users I'll be happy, but I still feel used by EA for making me get the game on the first day for a VIP code.

And another thing, was it just me, or could anyone else find a non-Limited Edition BC2? I honestly could only find limited editions. And did it cost extra? If so, **** you EA.

yes limited editions were 2 quid extra not a lot tbh i didnt want one tho it gives you things already in the game

My limited edition was the same price as a usual one, was sort of a reward for preordering it.

This is excellent news. I recently bought the limited edition BF: BC2 and completed it not 2 hours ago. Haven't had much time on the MP but I will be playin it soon. Glad I bought it if all of this is gonna be free for VIP 's !

Dark you got no reward for preordering it preordering is just well made up in my opinion

Well i got the Limited Edition for the same price as the normal one which means free stuff when the DLC comes out and i got the code for just ordering it to be delivered on release.
