BBC iPlayer coming to 360 next week [RUMOUR]

EuroGamer has been informed by a reliable source that Microsoft's Xbox 360 will finally get the BBC iPlayer next week and it will be available to all for free (as it should be). After a long negotiation with the BBC they have now come to an agreement and the service will be available for download next week. The 360 currently has 4oD and Channel 5 on Demand apps with the ITV Player launching before the end of the year. ​

Its no longer a rumour and the iPlayer is now available on Xbox 360 and is free for everyone in regions its available.

yeh seen this when I took a browse around xbl - about time, iplayer is actually a really good service, I use it from time to time, had the last series of hustle and top gear on season record, it deletes any videos after the time limits up automatically and the download speeds are very impressive, so about time it came to xbox live lol

Havent used it yet but putting it on both my 360's so I can watch the content in bedroom and in living room. Saves Amy and I huddling around my laptop like we used to.
