I happen to have liked Spirits Within. It was good enough if not a bit weak in the story, but the effects and characters were well done.

That's true. It was to me... boring... I guess I just like FF7 + FF8 + FF9 + FF10 and 10-2. Those are the final fantasies that I like..... The made the people look cool in Spirits Within.

I didn't really see any connection with any FF game, but as a movie I have to say I enjoyed it. Actually, I wouldn't mind watching it right now, it is kickass.

There is no connection ... There just a series of the same type of stories and same type of fighting. (Tactics battle was good too) I agree. The movies was good... but spirits within wasn't what I think it was...Are we allowed to say kick-***?

I thought the whole "alien ghosts" idea was rather cool actually. Especially how they really weren't evil and the connection they made with that girl.
