I have found all the books except for about three. Instead of telling me where all of them are, is there some obscure places where they might be, places that are not so obvious and easy to over look?

I remember that there's one I was right by a few times throughout the game but it's hidden quite well. Without giving too much away, it's in kind of a small room and I was within inches of it at least twice and didn't notice it at all. If you're 27/30 you only need to find two more because the last one is a quest one which you'll get to via the golden trail.
