Yeah, I don't know what the song is all about. It just kinda symbolises what went on in my head as soon as I slipped them on.

Anyway, that's right, I got my new glasses - finally. It's been nearly a month of being more or less blind as a bat(a bit over-the-top, but my eyes are pretty sux0rz.)

I can't tell you how nice it is to be able to creep over these forums without having my face right up in the screen like some weirdo. Being able to game and watch TV without doing the same is nice too, I guess. And I think my entire body will appreciate not bumping into things any longer. THOSE COFFEE TABLE CORNERS JUST COME OUTTA NOWHERE MAN

I doubt anyone will really give a damn, but not being able to see has kinda got me down lately, so I'm super pumped that I can see again. Plus my new glasses are kewl.

Well I'm really pleased for you

When I get new glasses it causes me to walk like I'm trying really hard not to be obviously drunk - the clarification of a new prescription is so extreme, I swear my eyeballs are about to explode. But it's still better than being so short-sighted you mistake a bollard for your husband.

I'm the same. These glasses are definitely a huge leap from my last ones, and after I first put them on, everytime I looked to the side and back my eyes took a few milliseconds to refocus. Was also kinda funny walking down the stairs... the steps seemed further away than usual...
