It shouldn't be so difficult. The last time I tried to get the bow on my newest playthrough, I had the merc from Bowserstone South and the one from Oakvale. They'd take the Oakvale merc for 300 evil points, but wouldn't take the Bowerstone one for anymore than like 60-100. I must have tried twenty times without success.

I did note that the Bowerstone merc wasn't at full health since I just went ahead and ran through Darkwood with him to get to the chapel. I healed him, tried it... got the bow. So make certain that the mercs are at FULL HEALTH when you sacrifice them too.

On my second sacrifice, I got 845ish. So I got everything at once. Bow, age reduction and Necromancer title. Hey GetOwned, check your weapons>ranged list to see if you obtained it. It won't pop up into your hand once you get it. You have to equip it. Stay evil, my friend.

i dont think you can get necromancer titled at the same time as reduction, they have to be seperate.
