I actually have a sure-fire trick to making it look like that... I actually roll around with the sword of aeons like that and this is how you do it: First you get mastered multi hit. Second you get another weapon like the harbinger... Last you equip the other weapon and use multi hit. Then you switch to the sword of aeons, and its all glowy and destructive... But when you hit someone its gone...

And after the sword of aeons is all glowy... You can change to any weapon and it will do the same! No mods and its actually awesome???? I do this on my xbox by the way.
