Does anyone know how to buy the Shadow temple/light temple or even Fairfax castle?

You have to beat the game to buy Fairfax, and I would think that IF you could buy the temples you would have to complete their quests (donation/sacrafice) to do so. I do know of one building that I was able to buy at the temple of light, but it wasnt availible until after I donated them money and I had completed a part of the story in which 10 years go by.
