Can't find created villager

I've scoured Brightwall village several times over and have yet to find my created villager here:

She should stand out well enough but I can't locate her anywhere. Is there some kind of secret to finding them, or will it just be a chance encounter? Or could it be a problem like the ones with Fable II's online game prizes (chicken costume) not transferring?

Nevermind, she seems to be a quest giver during the mission in Brightwall to improve the place. Hopefully once I finish it I can interact with her a bit.
