Captain Saker / PDF Version
Saker was born in Bowerstone Old Town when the hero unified the land and took the crown, ruling
from the mighty castle in Bowerstone. Saker was one of the many children without a family and a
home to live into. However, an old soldier brought in the three young males to train, to protect the
farmers from the continuous bandit raids in exchange of some food and water.
Things went well for Saker and his adopted brothers, but everything fell apart when a bandit raid, led
by Zeras – a black and muscled ex-mercenary that comes from a far away land single handily killed
his father and his brothers.
Zeras saw the youngest brother – Saker wounded and ready to fight against Zeras. Although, whether
it was pity or mercy Zeras took Saker in and made him a bandit. Saker raided outlying farms and
villages with Zeras gang for years to come.
One day though, an unnamed blind woman appeared and foretold to Zeras his death would come
from someone he spared long time ago. Immediately Zeras ordered his men to find and kill Saker.
Saker, now wanted dead from Zeras had little-to no choice but to join the Albion army. The army
didn’t care about someone’s criminal background, the kingdom was running out of soldiers, the
frontlines were many and the salary was decent. (If you came back alive, that is)
After the training in the outskirts in Bowerstone and a few victories in the southern border – he
returned to Bowerstone, to see a majestic city which was widen and evolved with all the sacrifices
they made.
Saker was assigned to guard Bowerstone’s outskirts under the command of an intrepid young camp
leader, Swift. Soon Saker had to meet his old “friend” Zeras, now aged and known to have set up
multiple bandit, pirate and mercenary bases throughout the land.
One night, Swift called Saker and passed him a direct message from the crown. Someone had to lead
the front against the bandit threat and leader known as Zeras. Saker didn’t hesitate and left to the
front.
Saker reached the outskirts of a renegade city – Bloodstone. Although unexpectedly a nobleman
known as Lord Fernus had control of a small army. Saker wasn’t listening to the nobleman’s blotter,
ignoring him and his threats – Saker was loyal to the crown.
The battle of Bloodstone was bloody; the city fell after three days. However by the end of the week
there was no sign of Saker and his men, but the decapitated body of Fernus was found, next to the
one of Zeras by Swift’s men.
Saker was lost for the years to come – until Logan took the crown, Saker went all out again with his
mercenaries.
