card dealer in knothole dead

so I went to talk to the card dealer in knothole glade to play and get one of the dolls. I hear someone battle cry and the next thing I know I'm getting hit from behind, then the play menu goes away and the dealer is dead at my feet. I turn around and there is an assassin. wtf, right?

so, will he come back to life after a few days or will I need to reload to an earlier save?

give him about 3 in game days, he will get over it.

as for the assassins, there are 5 of them that always appear at sertain locations, kill all 5 or they will keep respawning and being pests. there are plenty of lists of where to find them on here, just look around a bit.

If you have a save from not long before that you can go back and keep the assassin from coming into town. Just go to KHG through the WWLake gate and head toward town, or teleport to KHG and head toward WWLake. If you do that soon after the assassin quest starts, you can keep him from going to town. If you come and go to and from KHG without killing him once, then he comes to town. So kill him the first time quickly and he will not do that.

He did indeed come back. So now I'm trying to win that card game by using slow time before I talk to him, and time is slowed, until I start playing the game. the seconds tick by in real time. Does my slow time need to be of a certain level before it will work on him?

using slow time works to slow down the card games in Fable, but not in lost chapters.

^That sucks, I just got TLC installed and I just beat Twinblade (And took over the bordello *insert drodeds special smiley here* lol) and I was gonna play some cards, all well, I just can't wait to get to hook coast so I can make 20k off of shove ha penny.
