when i was playing the game I didnt feel as big of a connection to my dog and the other characters.
When my dog died , it seems too staged, you didnt get a good enough feel for his death and you couldnt feel sad enough. When I played fallout 3 and lucas simms died I felt genuinly sad, exspecially when i learned he had a son.
I was kind of expecting a feeling of "part of me has died" after i finished fable 2, i didnt get that feeling unfortunatly.

I can see what you mean. They did the childhood really well.
When Lucien shoots Rose, and her scream of "Noooo" it got to me.
I think in part due to the fact that this game had awesome, just purely awesome voice actors/actresses.

Halo 3's ending got to me. The Lord Of The Rings ending got to me. The Invisible's ending got to me. This ending did not. The dog annoyed me more than anything, as did the sister. If Reaver died I would have laughed. If Garth died I would have been angry, he's the coolest of the 3. If Hammer died I would not have been surprised.

i dint care that my sis died but when my dog died... i just had to bring him back i have 2 dogs of my own.

^ i have an older sister in real life 4 years older:P still felt more love for my dog though (game wise)

My first playthrough was quite depressing. I enjoyed it, but a number of things built up and got to me. First off, your sister, of course. Then I made the mistake of investing in Barnum's plan for Westcliff (I liked him, but I can't stand "tourist attraction" Westcliff - it ruins the original sense of strength the place has), then Barnum

was murdered by Reaver, which was equally sad and frustrating, after I'd tried to make his life easier. My dog was killed, and I didn't end up choosing Love. I felt the lack of his presence to be very disconcerting. And then all of the heroes went away which left me... utterly alone. I suppose it all depends on how you play, but I felt attached to the characters.

yeah i prefered westcliff as the scumhole it was. and since i didn't choose love my fav. charactor has no dog, and i made all the evil choices to do with ares so now my fav. wotld is basically scum. that seriously ****ed me off and the dog was the last straw

all the same to me, but as it stands to day i have my dog still alive
