Clash ot Titans --> Clash of Fable Series?

So I watched Clash of the Titans yesterday.

What REALLY struck out to me was three particular things.

The giant scorpions in the desert, Fable I had them in the arena.

The Kraken at the end, was that not similar to Fable's Hydra?

That is a pic of Sulieman, a Djinn, from CotT.
Note his weapon, similar to a scythe.
Also note his is immortal.
Tell me he isn't like Scythe from Fable?

Or did Fable base their things off of the old old old stories of Perseus?

Interesting theory. I agree that final one does look like Scythe, but we can't make any assumptions just because of similar things. Fantasy creatures are pretty much unanimous, I'm sure you can find many other fantasy films/books/stories with similar creatures.

Its a remake of an very old film. If anything Fable copied 'Clash of the Titans'.

I know that Ali, I saw it in 8th Grade.

Or did Fable base their things off of the old old old stories of Perseus?

Also notice Theresa in Fable II resembles Io.

Clash Of The Titans was a remake of a film from 1981 (which your aware of) and its based around old stories from Greek mythology so many of the creatures are inspired from the mythology itself and many games and movies use the same ideas.

good thoughts on the comparison but sadly not much of an influence, i think the greek tragedies would be more influential to PM do to its twisted endings, always sad. the guy at the end does look similar to scythe but that weapon is a egyptian scimitar. scythe however seems to have taken the personification of Death, having similar features to Grim Reaper/Azrael/Michael/Raphael, all whom are archangels of death..
