unfortunately that Weapon doesn't exist in Fable's system. So people would have to download the FMP along with it.

But I love it. :P

Re: Clothing Mods

Interesting where did you get that?

Re: Clothing Mods

It is a Fable Mod made by a man named Tiger Sun and the image I have shown; that he made; is the Normal Eyes of the Fable Hero; but with some Highlights to them :D

Re: Clothing Mods

I can answer some questions.
FE->game.bin->CREATURE->CREATURE_HERO

In the main defination there are links to the eye model and creature model.
Follow the links and under the materials tab of the models you'll find the textures used.

It's best to download Nvidia's DDS plugins for photoshop or gimp so you can work with the dds format natively. As that is what Fable uses.

There are 2 types of meshes. Static and animated. In order to edit them you'll need a graphic app that supports the DirectX .x file format. 3DS max has .x plugins.

The plugins aren't the best though so some hand editing of the .x in notepad will be needed for animated meshes.

Some of the animated meshes also have dynamic mesh pieces. Such as hair and some clothing pieces. These aren't supported. You can make new hair but it won't be dynamic.

Re: Clothing Mods

Hi Lads,

Anyone searching for new textures for clothing or weapons: Weapon ReSkins, Clothing ReSkins.

Pics of the textures are included in the package.

They're not hard to apply to the game. You only need Fable Explorer (no Free Roam or Albion Explorer).
They replace the standard textures.

How-to:

1: Make a back-up of your 'textures.big' file. (found in: Fable/data/graphics/pc/textures.big)

2: Get Fable Explorer, (here, credits go to Hunter, Keshire and Satan).

3: Start Fable Explorer (note: it won't start if you have Fable TLC running).

4: Rightclick on 'textures.big'.

5: Select 'merge big'

6: Select the *****.big you want to use in the game.

7: Click 'Actions' and 'save mods and run Fable'

8: Wait till Fable Explorer starts Fable TLC.

Thats it.

NB:
The mod is now saved in textures.big.
If you want to reverse these changes, replace the file with the original.

BTW: I also made this knife, which was mentioned earlier in this topic...

Re: Clothing Mods

hey adam is the the kinda thing you were looking for
sorry cant post a screenie but yeah just open fe load the fmp and either:
a) "save as" the texture and load it into the leather one
or
b) open the leatheramour model and change the texture it uses
i suggest using the first way as it is easier

TurboUpload- One-Click Webhosting - File ID 1595310
