Continuity Fail?

Ok, so here's what I discovered;

I was reading a couple of the books in fable 2 and I find one titled the hero of oakvale. As I was reading this I found that it said that the hero weilded the sword of aeons to defeat Jack of Blades, but for the hero to get the sword he had to kill Theresa. So according to that book Theresa is dead except we all know she isn't because she is one of the main characters in Fable 2.

So was this intentional or what?

They can't say which he did, as that ruins the first game's outcome. So, Yeah, It's intentional.
