The demo for the highly anticipated FPS Crysis 2 will finally be hitting PC on March 1st its been confirmed today. The demo will have players competing in six versus six matches set against a war-torn Manhattan in two maps: the rooftops of 'Skyline' and the open environment of 'Pier 17'. Offering 2 modes of play 'Team Instant Action'(Team Deathmatch) and 'Crash Site' (has players battling over control of drop pods).
EA also said that gamers who pre-order Crysis 2 today will receive an automatic upgrade to the Crysis 2 Limited Edition at no extra cost, while supplies last (just preordered mine as of 5mins ago). This special edition includes the following four in-game unlocks:

Bonus XP - Players will jump into multiplayer battles with an edge by starting with enough experience points to gain early access to all preset class load-outs.
SCAR Hologram Decoy - This special attachment to the SCAR will project a hologram image of the player, allowing them to confuse their opponents with the decoy.
SCAR Weapon Skin - This digital camouflage skin will allow players to add a personalized touch to one of the more popular assault rifles in the game.
Platinum Dog Tag - This special one-of-a-kind dog tag is one of over 250 that will be collectible in Crysis 2 multiplayer, helping to separate you from the rest of the field.

Did they release the system requirements for it? My PC can handle Crysis at max, but I'm a little worried about Crysis 2.

Fear not, Crysis 2 is actually less of a resource hog than Crysis so your PC will handle it perfectly well. I played the beta and they've optimized it very well.

:D Excellent, very glad to hear that.

Yeah Crysis was a real resource hog but seems they have done well to optimise Crysis 2 so more people can enjoy it. Guess it helped that they managed to make a console version this time around. Overall it should outsell Crysis comfortabley and give them a bigger budget for Crysis 3 to optimise that even more.
