Dancing?

I am going to a rave for the first time ever right, only, I don't know what actually happens at one. Like I get that everyone stands around dancing, but what dancing do they do? Just like jumping up and down all the time? If you could tell me I would be greatful ^^ x

What you described + MEGA MOSHING. Three tips:
Be ready for a fight
Don't drink the punch or eat the food
Have ALOT of fun.

EDIT: Also, the dancing is just pretty much freestyle, you don't have to do much, just go with the beat.

^Thats another thing, Techno is a type of music you have to grow into.

Before then I disliked most techno, but after listening to about 30 songs I started liking the dance beats, now other than headbanging, the only dancing I can actually get into is rave dancing.

You dont get into fights at a Rave, You just Dance like you have no legs. Hows that possible? Exactly.

And good thing aobut a rave is that if you cant dance good, its okay, because everyone else is crap too.
