i know this show is old,but just now has the awesome show graced my eyes,i'm up to episode 22 =D=D=D=D=D

I got mixed feelings about DBZ. Some of the fighting bits are awesome, yet some seems to be nothing but two guys standing in an endless stand-off screaming at each other. Then there's the perverted moments...

I got mixed feelings about DBZ. Some of the fighting bits are awesome, yet some seems to be nothing but two guys standing in an endless stand-off screaming at each other. Then there's the perverted moments...

Yeah some parts are severely dragged out and really unneeded but overall over the years its one of the shows which has given me good memories of being younger. ^_^

i just learned that kai is chinese for sucess or w/e. probably unrel8d, but it made me think of dbz.
i was never a huge fan. just watched most of them. not nearly enuf 2 b considered huge fan. 80% at most.

Agreed, Akira Toriyama never should have let that be released and actually either made them leave it at DBZ or continued the story himself.

Yeah was annoying when Buu survived that blast after such a good speech and dialog by Vegeta (though i knew he would survive it) :getlost:

Always hated that damn fat buu character, he was a joke in that form.

The bear part was quite intense and ran like hell but wouldnt say i wanted to wet myself no. :lol:

I really liked the Buu storyline. It expanded upon certain characters (like Mr. Satan, or Hercule).

Yeah, alot of the characters in the show are puns off of some certain theme. The Saiyans are intentional puns on vegetables, Bulma's family is intentional puns on underwear/undergarments. And as you already know now, the Buu thing is a pun on those magic words.

I love both Dragon Ball & DBZ, I tried really hard to get into GT... i really did, but I just couldn't stand it. I really didn't like Pan at all, nor Giru, both were unbelievably annoying. Not to mention, the plots nor the characters, were thought out that well. Alot of the characters were just thrown into the story with zero info/background attached to them, lots of plot holes.

DBGT seemed extremely rushed in parts, i mean Super 17 was meant to be the ultimate android and the 'saga' and i use that term loosely lasted all of about 12 episodes.... i mean come on. Then they dragged out pointless parts like the finding of the black star dragonballs against some pathetic opponents.

Yeah that was annoying and then suddenly him 'growing' up again when he reaches Super Saiyan 4. Was also annoying how they messed with Vegeta and gave him a stupid hair cut and (at first) a moustache... sacrilage... also made him look really weak using fake methods to go Super Saiyan 4. Hes the Prince of saiyans and that was degrading to his character.

agreed gt did kind of suck compared to dbz but it was something to watch and the "growing up" at ssj4 was kind of weird but in ways made sense i wish they would have released dbaf it might have been just a rumor but it had the potential to be awesome
