I don't think that there should be Demon Doors in Fable 2.......

I want Demo WELLS!!!! MUHAAHAAHAAHAA....... *cough*

Nah but it would be awesome if some weren't even doors.

For instance imagine you're walking along and suddenly the ground opens up and swallows you and you find out that it's actually a horizontal demon door and to get out you have to solve it's riddle and if you do the chamber starts to collapse and you have to get out or be crushed to death!!!

that would be awesome........

I like the idea of "booby trapped" demon doors. You fall into a door, he asks a riddle, you fail the floor begins to fall out from under your feet, you succeed, the demon door has a little fun and the floor falls out from under your feet :D. You would have to climb up to the Demon Door to escape. You would have to time your jumps from ledge to ledge with a meter similar to the one used in the jobs and emote mini games.

I think i saw an interview where PM talked about Demon Doors... Can't remember where and when though...

Wish i could hear what that demon door said. Its tone sounds a little more demonic.

It said something about doing a dance or entertaining the door itself, PM states this to the reporter briefly when she asks about it.

PM also stated that there would be Dog-specific Demon Doors where you will have yo use you're dog to satisfy the conditions of the Door's riddle.

Yeah i know, just wanted to see if they sounded ancient like in the first, or if they really were demonic like the muffled voice sounds.

I like the dog specific doors idea. I bet there will be co-op specific demon doors aswell

It wouldn't be Fable without demon doors. They added depth and challenge, and some of them actually made you THINK.

I agree with the earlier posts, more subtle demon doors would be much more better. Instead of having them all look alike, perhaps vary the appearence. It would be awesome if part of the task of opening the demon door would be getting it to reveal itself. To find that out, there might be clues in the surrounding area. You might have to endure a bard's song in a tavern that might have a hint thrown in it.

I also liked the earlier poster's ideas about alignment based doors. For example, an evil demon door could tell you to go on a killing spree in a town, and then it would open for you. A benevolent demon door could tell you about an immenient attack on a villege, and if you stop it, it will open for you. A corruption demon door might even demand you contract a STD ;)
