Diablo II

Does anyone play? I just started playing like, 3 days ago, and it's so freakin' addicting. Been playing online with my friend David, but I'd really like to have a lot more people to play with. Anywho, my character is like, 20, on the USWest realm. Oh, I don't have Lords of Destruction though. Too poor to afford it.

So, add me, my guy's name is Gwaaaar. I'm a barbarian.

Re: Diablo II

I've never completed it, but I have it plus the first one, I always end up going as a necromancer specialising in skeleton mastery.

Very addictive games, Stay awhile and listen!

Re: Diablo II

Oh oops, I guess I absentmindedly put this in the wrong forum. Thanks staff.

Haha, I want to try the Assassin when I get LOD, and maybe the Sorcerer. I hate only being able to hit one thing at a time till I get Whirlwind. :(

Re: Diablo II

Why yes, I have a character, but I don't think I can play on battlenet..>.>; And I've super modded my character with a trainer, so I don't think that'll help. Sorry. :( Lords of Destruction is awesome by the way, and you should get it. :D

Re: Diablo II

I like playing Druids. But I don't have the game T_T Need to buy it so I can go on Battle-net.

When I do I like being a feral bite/fury werewolf who sub-specs in wolf summoning.

Re: Diablo II

Druids are awesome. But so are Paladins.

When I played the game, I got to the third act and stopped... I forgot why though.

Re: Diablo II

The expansion is really cool, the assassin is alot of fun, its worth getting.

Re: Diablo II

Ahhhh West, could have played on East with ya.

Re: Diablo II

Greetings my friend, stay a while and listen: I love playing Diablo II, I haven't played online for forever, but I play single-player often.

Re: Diablo II

Lulz, Cain.

I didn't really like Paladins. I got to level 8 with a Paladin, then went to a Barb and got to 23 I think now.

Probably going to switch to an Assassin once I finish the game and get LOD. It sucks being poor.

I greatly enjoy my druid, never really got into a Paladin. Too many friends played them... got sick of hearing about it. Plus my other character that I loved was a bow Amazon... Multi-shot is mah friend.

Agreed, Paladin's are cool, never tried a Barbarian though. Again, too many friends played them. And yes, Assassin is amazing.

Re: Diablo II

Barbs can be fun but they're SOOOOOO gear reliant and you have to choose ahead of time what kind you want to be. Its easier now with the respecs but even then you have to be able to get the gear for what you want to do.

Howler, what kind of druid did/do you play? Server?

Re: Diablo II

That's part of the reason I loved my werewolf. A few Feral Bites and I've got my attack speed/life drain self buff going. After that I keep spamming Fury (4 attacks very quickly). Who needs HP when your damage is also your survival? Heh some bosses hit way too hard for it to work well though. Hence why I back it up with my wolves.

Being a werewolf Druid is all about what weapon you have equipped. You HAVE to have a fast weapon equipped with good damage. It's a necessity... lol so basically what I'm getting at is every character requires the right gear and planning, some moreso than others however.

Re: Diablo II

I had a Rabies Drood back when Carrion Wind was bugged. Amg1337haxdmg.

Re: Diablo II

Rabies is a nifty ability, just... a bit underwhelming now. They weakened it at one point I think... now it's all about wind Druids... Bleh.

I always hated people who told me Werewolves were dumb and werebears where the way to go...

Re: Diablo II

Yeah Rabies used to be teh sheet before they fixed the Carrion Wind bug, would give Rabies level 22 Poison Creeper synergy, then they fixed it and kthxbai went Rabies usefullness.

I would always use Wolf to level with, but I was a Shaman endgame dueling.

And Windy Druids are all the rage now because of slows and summon stacking.

Re: Diablo II

Yea... but I like feeling like the Alpha wolf as I charge into combat with my badass Dire wolf pack!

Was cool. Plus I had Sephi as the ridiculous boss killer. I killed hordes.

(edit: typos... I really need to start editing before I post...)

Re: Diablo II

I am usually a Necro or a Druid, I like summoning mah minions. I like Paladin as well, but mainly because I like being healers, on Return to Castle Wolfenstein Multiplayer, I was always the Medic class.

Problem is, Skels are useless later on, haha. Werewolves were beast in Diablo II.

Re: Diablo II

You know, Necromancer is the one class I wish I'd played. Looked pretty fun to run around with your MASSIVE horde of undead. Never got past level 10... I wanted to do bone magic to back up my minions but... I couldn't figure out how to do it without spreading myself too thin... so I gave up lol. And went and made a bow Amazon instead... she was awesome.

Re: Diablo II

Firis, you should be ashamed for calling skellys weak endgame. They make it almost impossible to hit you during duels if you're being BM, and are the ultimate meatshields.

My last summoner could solo ubers.

@White - typically what you would do in that case is go bone and put one point in each summoning skill you wanted, let +skills get the rest. My boner had like 25-30 +skills depending on gear and charms which still let me have my skeletons and golem do their job.
