Doctor Who

Season finale was today. Was anyone in love with it as much as I am? <3

Re: Doctor Who

Mt step-daughter loves it. I can't say I care for it. It's cool that a British show is doing so well across the pond, though. 'Grats to David Tennant - or whoever is the current Doctor - for helping make the show as popular as it is.

Tennant left the series last season. Matt Smith is the new doctor. <3

Re: Doctor Who

The episode was one of the greatest I have ever seen.

But now it's over, how will I get my weekly dose of Karen Gillan?? :'(

Re: Doctor Who

Well, I was confused. My perception has gone out the window lately, and I really don't understand how the Doctor telling the story to the little Amelia somehow made him come back from the other side of the wall. Other than that, it wasn't bad.

Re: Doctor Who

Ive been catching up with it (Girlfriends a huge fan) still got about 4 episodes to watch though before i get to the season finale. Didnt think Matt Smith would be as good as he is, hes an excellent Doctor.

The Doctor told li'l Amelia that:

1.) He borrowed the Tardis.
2.) It was new technologically, but old visually.
3.) It was blue.

So when Amy on her wedding heard the traditional rhyme, "Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue," she remembered the Doctor, therefore bringing him back.

I mean, duh.

Re: Doctor Who

Oh ok. It still doesn't explain why, even though the Doctor would have never existed, he came back through her remembering him.

Re: Doctor Who

Li'l Amelia was exposed to the crack in her wall, so she got most of time loaded into her brain, so when the Pandorica was fired into the exploding Tardis, the second big bang happened, and Amy had the memory of the universe in her head, so what she remembered came back.

Re: Doctor Who

Doctor Who is crap. However, as Jessica is a HUGE fan we're going to the NIA in Birmingham to catch the live show in October. Costing a small fortune, mind, but it's meant to be nothing short of mind-blowing.

The only mind-blowing I'll be thinking of whilst attending is shooting my own brains out...

It sucks. Its a joke in comparison to the real genius of the old show.

You think it sucks. Thank you very much.

Re: Doctor Who

I think that was implied seeing as how I was the one posting my comment using my account.

P.S - I thought it was physically impossible, but it both sucks and blows. That's how terrible it is.

But do you like the show? I only saw a clip, so not enough to have a good opinion of it. I really need to catch up with the other shows I've been missing.
