Dual wield and shields in F2?+ other subjects..

i think that it would be really cool to be able to dual wield in F2. i think it would also be cool if you could like... switch it to 1st/3rd person at any time. Or like having character creation thing after you turn in to an adult

yeah i agree that you shoult be able to have 1st person because in fable tlc the views sucked one was very close that blocked off your view and the others were fine y not just have first person, it makes an rpg mre realistic to me like in elder scrolls

dual wield would be sick but i dont think its happening

I agree that would be pretty awesome if those things were added in
Fable 2

yeah character creation would be awesome but then you'd need all the different morphs aligned to you're character's features and whatnot so it would create a lot of coding i reckon

It's funny that you mention that - I was just thinking that Fable managed to pull off a great third person combat system, and Oblivion managed to implement a decent first person combat system, but fighting from a third person perspective was kinda clumsy. Kinda makes me wonder if Fable (and Fable 2) should just check to what it's good at: third person combat. I don't know - just thinking out loud! ^_^

You're right, fighting in third-person in Oblivion was a little clumsy.:lol:

On topic: Yeah all of these things would be awesome to include, but I don't think shields exist in Albion.

Dual wield is for Elves and other freaks, real men use two handed weapons.

I think it should stick to what it is now - leave shields, 1st person views to elder scrolls. Nothing to do with fable but I FREAKING WANT THE NEXT ELDER SCROLLS! ahem...

in the first fable i dont even know what kind of view they had when it went up against your back and you couldn't see in front of you

I think Shields would be very kool! C'mon i know you had fantasies bashing in someone face with a shield?!?!?! How dank would that be? (Also would Geek me out to see that in a video game:D)

dual wields will probably be only for pistols (my point of view)

lol :D well the er....3rd person in oblivion with a bow is real bad but i like 1st person better... :D

alot of the concept art has shown duel weilding pistols so i whould think they have that but i dont know about 1st person... doubt shields...

I don't think first person would work (aside from long-range weapons in single-player) with Fable. Dual wielding...It would be cool, although then almost everyone you see would be doing that. At any rate, I suspect there will be dual-wieldable pistols or something like it. Although don't place all your hopes on concept art.

I'm not sure character creation would be great for Fable games as they are, mostly because they currently give everyone the same beginning and your character grows a bit more organically. That said, I'm all for more options, but it almost definitely won't be in this game, heh. Actually, I'd like to make people of different skin and hair and eye colors, although it seems you can die your hair in Fable 2 anyway.

I'm not sure why you would want to play Fable II in first person have the fun is in how cool your hero looks. I haven't heard anything on dual weilding or shields but I would love to have trhem if they worked.

I would love to be able to use shields in fable II. As for the first person view I think it might happen, the only reason I say might is because I have seen a video of someone going into a first person view
